Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of PoolPreCert. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What PoolPreCert is

PoolPreCert is software that assists with pool barrier checks, inspection record keeping, maintenance tracking and reporting. PoolPreCert does not issue pool safety certificates and does not provide legal advice. See our Inspection Disclaimer.

2. Your responsibilities

  • Pool owners remain responsible for the compliance of their pool barriers.
  • Professionals remain responsible for the inspections they perform and the reports they issue.
  • You must only upload content you have the right to upload and must not upload photographs of people without consent.
  • You must keep your login credentials secure.

3. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. One-off purchases are for a single report. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. [Legal review: refund policy and Australian Consumer Law statements.]

4. Limitation of liability

[Legal review required. Must be drafted consistently with the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.]

5. Termination

We may suspend accounts that misuse the service. You may close your account at any time from Settings.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
